Etheria: Restart tries to lure back deserters with SS3 Season Auric Warcry

Despite their drawbacks, I do enjoy a gacha game. However, I think they are tricky to get into. Specifically, in relation to the point in their life cycle you enter. Too late, and there's 100 characters to collect. Too early, you inevitably hit that content drought. Etheria: Restart was the later for me. I played it a lot when it launched, then ran out of things to do and walked away. 

I feel like I heard that happened to a lot of people as well, but now XD Games is looking to do something about that. Season SS3 Auric Warcry has launched and will last until April 5th. Returning players will be greeted with the Dormant Coffer, a chest that will accumulate and store up to 60 days of unclaimed resources when offline. A nice haul.

You can also take advantage of the Animus Reconfiguration event, which lets you reset three Animuses to their base level whilst refunding all materials spent. Perfect if there are any new characters you like the look of, such as the debuting Kethos and Bornova.

Kethos is a Kinetic character who has the ability to steal enemies' turns. His skill will build up stacks of Congel, and when it hits three, he will instantly take the next enemy Animus' turn. Helpful, and kind of funny. Bornova, on the other hand, is a whirling dervish of pain whose whole kit is geared towards smashing everyone in front of him.

What if you want to come back and start anew, though? Well, simply create a character on the Auric Warcry server, and you will receive a 14-day double-drop buff and a Growth Boostbonus up to level 100. SS3 is also expanding the game's PvP options.

The Arena Realm Summit Brawl event lets you choose 3 Animus from your roster to battle in their MAX form. Great for competitiveness, and lets you see if they are worth building. Also, until you reach Diamond rank or level 100, you won’t be matched against level 100 foes anymore. We can also expect cross-server, global matchmaking to reach RTA mid-season.
