Etheria: Restart highjacks Christmas Day with a new summon banner event

What is it you are looking forward to most tomorrow? Christmas? Wrong answer! For it is, in fact, Etheria: Restart day! Hyperbolic? Perhaps, but I feel I must be when XD Games plans to drop a new banner on a holiday. Maybe they are after all the money floating around in Christmas Cards.

Absolute Hollow, such a remarkable festive title, will kick off on December 25th and will last until January 14th.  Unfortunately, all this event has are two new characters. Which, sure, that is exciting, but feels just a little bit empty for a Christmas Day release. Either way, let's dive in. 

We are starting with Palin, an SSR Support Animus. Her regular skill deals damage to enemies whilst granting a 1-turn immunity to herself. However, it also causes the next character who attacks the same enemy to heal, which is cool. She can also damage all enemies and have a chance to inflict Vulnerable and strip 1 buff. 

Finally, her last skill adds a Defense up and Counterattack Rate buff to the team, as well as granting the main target a massive 10-Turn Threat. Basically, everyone has to target them. The turns tick down whenever the character is hit, but still cool.

So a solid Support, but what if you want to lay waste to your foes instead? Sanyu is out Attack SSR, whose main attack deals more damage according to the gap between Sanyu's Speed and her targets. So, buff up her Speed and smack around the slow foes.

Her second skill helps with this by buffing her Speed with Lightwing. Finally, her last skill boosts the entire team's Speed for 2 turns, has a chance to dispel buffs, and deals damage to all foes. And yes, that Speed discrepancy bonus damage applies here too. Basically, we have found Etheria: Restarts’ Sonic the Hedgehog.
