Nexon are involved in a conspiracy to destroy Christmas, I am sure of it

I don’t understand the event schedule over at Nexon for Blue Archive. They have dropped their Summer Sky’s Promise update today, and as you might guess, it is a Summer event. Nexon is in South Korea; it is still winter over there. It’s cold. What is this time-warping nonsense they are pulling?

Whilst I puzzle over this, players of Blue Archive will find themselves appointed as an advisor for the Federal Investigation Club S.C.H.A.L.E, aka SCHALE. In case you are in a rush and don’t want to pronounce the dots. They are based in Kivotos, a huge city, so the number of places to investigate is countless, and the incidents, endless.

Luckily, helping you in this job or two new recruits: Seia (Swimsuit) and Hasumi (Swimsuit). Apparently, the SCHALE dress code is pretty lax. Also, still winter, not summer, I won’t fall for this trickery, Nexon. Those outfits make me feel freezing just thinking about them.

Seia (Swimsuit) is a perfect candidate for a squad with a single carry unit, as she can increase the EX Skill damage of one ally besides herself. Hasumi (Swimsuit), on the other hand, deals a percentage of her ATK as damage to all enemies in a fan-shaped area. Neither is really blowing me away, however.

This event will last until December 23rd, after which a Fest Recruitment Event will immediately kick off until December 29th. Your chance of acquiring a 3-star student will double here, and you can use Recruitment Points to purchase select characters. During this, there are three big characters you can collect: Nagisa (Swimsuit), Mika (Swimsuit), and the only sensibly attired one, Hina (Dress).

Mika (Swimsuit) can keep the enemy guessing, as her Unforgettable Memory skill cycles through three moves: Night’s Falling Star, Silent Resolve, and Relax a Little. Nagisa (Swimsuit), is a little more straightforward. She buffs an ally's Crit DMG and grants Cost Overload.

Then we are back to the tricky stuff, as Hina (Dress) uses Performance Opener, which again cycles through Ish Bosheth, First Note of the Melody, Second Note of the Melody, and Closing Melody. Just give me a character with a huge hammer and a “hits real hard” skill.
