Black Desert Mobile gets a Remaster with graphical and seasonal overhauls

Right now, the graphical world is overrun with Nvidia's DLSS mess; we won’t get into that, but I am against it. In the background, the boffins over at Pearl Abyss have been overhauling Black Desert Mobile, graphics and all, with naught more than elbow grease. And probably some AI, let's be honest.

The result is Black Desert Mobile Remastered. 

The first thing you will notice is the Graphics Remaster. Walk up to a puddle, as we all naturally do, and you will enjoy realistic reflections. This upgrade will also benefit gameplay, as you will have improved visibility of monsters, so you know when to run away sooner. Finally, the maximum frame rate has been doubled to 120 FPS for smoother gameplay. 

As many MMORPG players know, a UI can make or break the game. You can now customise the menu bar and a few of the elements to your liking. Also, the side menu has been restructured to become more intuitive by grouping elements. The main screen layout has also been optimised to prioritize usage and information, to make it quicker to access the most important places.

Removing timegates in any content is a massive win

Now for the big part: the Season Remaster. Time limits have been removed from seasonal content to let players complete it whenever, even during a new season, which is brilliant. The Adventurer Progression Log has been expanded to kickstart players' journey to 60,000 Combat Power more easily. 

If you are frustrated with losing ranks during The Martial God Tournament, then good news! There will be certain milestones during ranking that you can’t be demoted from, so you won't lose all your progress. The A Class Ban feature also lets you screw over your foe by banning up to two classes from matchmaking.

Heading to the Holy College of Calpheon, you can enter a new Great Library of Calpheon that lets you read up to 20 books a day to turbocharge your Adventure and Academic Knowledge.
