Fastar! (Fight Angry Squares: The Action RPG!) is one of the most bizarre side scrolling action games that I’ve seen since Tomena Sanner. As an action RPG, Fastar! doesn’t bother with slow buildups and sissy story telling, it just gets right into you killing angry squares.
“Fastar! is an Action RPG for when you just don’t have time for an Action RPG. Dead simple to pick up and play, you’ll be slashing and shopping your way across the grassy plains of [irrelevant flavorful name of fantasy world here] in seconds. You’ll cross the world in mere minutes.”
With a neat hand drawn style and its promised pick up and play style, Fastar! looks to be one of the best (or at least quickest) RPG’s of 2010. Cat-In-A-Box Box Games expects it to be out July 30th, so be ready… and fast!
