Continue the adventures in Rinascita as Wuthering Waves Version 2.1 Phase II lands March 6th

Back in January, Wuthering Waves really hit its stride when they released Version 2.0. They even got Jennifer English from Baldur's Gate 3 to voice a character for some star power. The good times are continuing to roll, with Version 2.1 Phase II kicking off on March 6th.

Dubbed “Waves Sing and the Cerulean Bird Calls”, players will be able to dive into the fancy carnival life with the Sail Day, Captain! companion story. Here you will spend time with Brant, captain of the Fool’s Troupe, who is sadly more an actor than a pirate. The hat is a lie. Luckily, his moves are at least nautical-themed as you will know if you pull him from the Blaze Across the Deep Resonator Convene. He is a Fusion fighter who has a couple of AoEs in his repertoire, but I am more interested in his Forte Circuit. It includes Waves of Acclaims which is a heal, and you can never have too much of that.

Making her return to the summon pool is Changli, another Fusion warrior to add to the collection. Her Outro Skill buffs the incoming Resonators Fusion DMG and Resonance Liberation DMG which is nice, but she is more than capable of dealing major damage herself. You will need to master her True Sight mechanic though to get the most out of her.

The keen-eyed amongst you will notice neither of these is The Shorekeeper, which is utterly unacceptable on Kuros’ part and I might be forced to go cry in a corner. Both of these convenes have Youhu, Taoqi and Mortefi as the boosted four-star Resonators, and you can of course pull their signature weapons to kit them out.

You can take advantage of double rewards from Simulations or Forgerys with the Bountiful Crescendo event to grab materials to power your new recruit up. Then, send them to the Infinite Battle Simulation II to claim chests through combat. Finally, you can simply enjoy the scenario and pick up some Astrite with the Beyond the Waves Exploration Event.
