I love Wuthering Waves, but I have one huge issue with it: I keep missing Shorekeeper reruns. I need her for my Havoc Rover team. Right now I have Roccia and Verina. My Rover is just sending kids into battle with books and flowers; it is not a good look. Anyway, personal issue aside, Version 3.0, We Who See The Stars, has launched, and it is time for our next arc.

We can take on Chapter III Act 1: What Burns Beneath Frostlands, and Act 2: Ode to the Second Sunrise, the two opening salvos of a story that is said to blend mechanical science fiction and space romance. It will take us to Lahai-Roi, an underground haven tucked deep beneath the Roya Frostlands.

An ancient polar shift that caused Lahai-Roi to become Solari’s new pole forced the surface-dwelling Roya to migrate below. There, they found a tropical wonderland, overflowing with long-thought-extinct prehistoric life, dwelling in an evolved and complex ecosystem. It’ll be a shame when we show up and stab everything.

To help us adventure through this new land, you can acquire an Expedition Motorbike, which brings us onto our two new resonators. Lynae is a highly mobile character thanks to her bike and skating, and is packing Optic Camo if you want to explore without dragging aggro. She's a great damage dealer also, but honestly, I want her just for that; it is nice to avoid battles sometimes.

Our second hero is Mornye, a Broadsword-wielding healer. Weird aesthetic, but what the hell. Unfortunately, not for me. She can summon a healing field and can deal a lot of damage as a bonus, but she has two modes you need to learn. And I prefer my healers to show up, do their job quickly, and go.

If you are looking for some free Asterites, you can take the online sorting test for Space Hogwarts - I mean Startorch Academy. There is also a big list of events to look forward to, including a photo collection one, an Echo Combat event, and, most excitingly, the Persona Sonic collaboration event. I usually find collaborations a little lazy, but that one has me interested.

Wuthering Waves is available from the App Store and Google Play.
