Wuthering Waves is making it difficult to choose who to pull for, especially with rumors of Cyberpunk collab coming soon
It has almost been a year since the collab announcement.
Wuthering Waves recently introduced two new characters, Hiyuki and Denia. Hiyuki is a mysterious shrine maiden who will be a Glacio-Sword Resonator, whereas Denia is another student from the Startorch Academy, set to be a Fusion-Gauntlet unit.
WuWa has been on a roll with their character designs, where both Hiyuki and Denia look as gorgeous as their other playable characters. Although they come out of nowhere, their appearance alone is enough to win some players over, ready to spend their Astrites when they debuted.
However, the decision hasn't been easy for some others, as the rumors of Cyberpunk collab are still looming on the horizon.
Wuthering Waves x Cyberpunk collab was announced for 2026
The collaboration was revealed in April 2025, which is almost a year ago. No exact time was mentioned, but fans have been anticipating the collab to be available either on version 3.4 or around anniversary time, which would be in WuWa 3.3. So the recent announcement of Hiyuki and Denia has left players uneasy, as some consider it a "trap" that will deter them from getting the Cyberpunk characters.Up until now, there has been no further information about the collab, but the most famous rumor is that the developer will introduce Lucy and Rebecca into the Wuthering Waves universe. Considering Lahai-Roi's current futuristic theme, these two would fit right in.
Lucy and Rebecca are expected to wield Pistols as their weapon, with Lucy bearing the Spectro attribute and Rebecca having the Havoc element.
Again, this information about Cyberpunk characters is unofficial, so if you wish to know more about it, you can either watch the WuWa 3.3 livestream to see if they will be a part of version 3.3 or wait until the potential drip marketing in April or May.
