Get ready for Luuk Herssen and Galbrena in Wuthering Waves 3.1's second phase

Aemeath takes the stage in Wuthering Waves 3.1's first phase, but it's now time for Luuk to make his rounds.

Dr. Luuk Herssen is a part of the Resonator Nursing Unit. He's the head physician at the Startorch Academy, making him a core part of the students' physical and mental health.

However, Luuk has a ton of mystery surrounding himself, like his connection with the Rover, his pastime activities, and also the untraditional hue of the liquid flowing in his veins.

Despite his role as a doctor, in combat, Luuk Herssen is a main DPS. He relies on his Basic Attack and plays around Tune Strain Response, perfect for the current meta. Luuk uses the Gauntlets and has the Spectro attribute, a throwback to Zani's combo.

If Luuk is not what you like, the rerun banner is great too

Hand in hand with Luuk Herssen's debut is the rerun of Galbrena. She was released before Lahai-Roi, not too long ago, in version 2.7. She's currently an S-tier Fusion DPS, at the same level as Resonators like Aemeath, Augusta, Cartethyia, Iuno, and Phrolova.

Thinking about who's on top and who's not reminded me of something, though: Not only aren't there many male characters, but the top spots are dominated by females. Other than the Rover, which barely counts, the male Resonators are mostly A-tier at best, which shows a pretty concerning trend about the characters.

The game started with a good balance, where Jiyan and Calcharo were the best damage dealers, followed by Jinhsi and Changli. But as the game goes on, the scale tips to the other side.

Whether it's for meta or for simply having him in his roster, Luuk Herssen's banner in Wuthering Waves will begin on February 26, 2026, until March 18, 2026. So you'll have three weeks to try your luck (or spend those hard-earned savings).
