WorldMate Gold has been updated to include push notification flight alerts. It's a fantastic use for push notifications. This updated version also includes the ability to suggest hotels based on your preferences for price, rating, etc. and then book them right on your iPhone.

The coolest feature remains the ability to forward your travel itinerary -- you know the confirmation emails you get from the airlines, hotels, etc -- to an email address and have them show up right in the app. You don't have to enter your travel plans, they just show up right in the app.
