PUBG Mobile hosts a very ill-advised game of football with Blue Lock collaboration

If you have played Final Fantasy X, then I am sure you have had the same thought as I: how is Wakka not dead? He fights gods and heavily armed soldiers with a sports ball. Could Messi beat the SAS? I don’t think so. And yet, famed football anime Blue Lock is joining the world of PUBG Mobile.

Until June 30th, you too can enjoy items from the anime that make every football match take ten times as long with camera cut-ins and monologues. This includes character sets of star Blue Lock players such as Isagi Yoichi, Bachira Meguru, Nagi Seishiro and Itoshi Rin. Beyond that, you can pick up the Training Outfit Set or the Maid Berserker Set.

Heading down to the battlefield, you can unlock Blue Lock vehicles, such as the Crimson Lightning Glider and Dacia. Unfortunately, not a massive football that you can enter and roll around in. Or maybe a giant football boot. You can also descend to the island in style with the Blue Lock parachute.

Where are the super special football abilities?

If you are looking to stack your loadout, you can arm yourself with the likes of the Chain Handcuffs, machete, Decisive Moment vector, and the Omlet Rice pan. Complete the set with the Jigsaw Puzzle Helmet and Backpack. There should really be some football or other sport in this. Like a Potato Gun that fires mini footballs. 

Outside of the combat, you can customise your space with themed character figures, graffiti, and other decorative pieces. You can show your fandom with the Avatar and Avatar Frame, and complete the collection with the Chibi Bachira Meguru Space Gift and Chibi Isagi Yoichi Space Gift. I really want to be able to take someone's head off with a football, but I suppose this will do.
