PolyFauna - Explore a Surreal Virtual Soundscape Courtesy of Radiohead and Universal Everything

The Creative Applications Network reports that the rather well-known band Radiohead has been collaborating with the digital artists of Universal Everything to create PolyFauna - one incredibly surreal landscape/soundscape, inspired by the song "Bloom" from King of Limbs, for you to explore on your iPad.

PolyFauna presents users with a different daily landscape to wander around in; complete with various forms of terrain, weather, creatures, etc. Swiping on the screen will create a random life form, which will then scamper/slither/fly/something else entirely around the world as it avoids larger animals and chases after smaller ones. Animal species, weather, color, and more will all shift and change along with the audio, which sounds somewhat reminiscent of Proteus, doesn't it?
