Summer comes to Identity V with new events, stalked by a deadly new Hunter
If you are looking for a distraction from the people-melting menace in the sky, NetEase has you covered with a raft of summer activities scheduled to land on June 29th. However, in order to enjoy these events, you will need to evade the game's newest deadly Hunter, Opera Singer Sangria.
Wielding the shard of a broken mask, Sangria sings a deadly song. Her unnaturally tall physique belies a mastery of stealth, as when she enters the shadows, Sangria all but disappears. After years of abuse from her family and a lifetime on stage, she now hunts for a new audience to sate her thirst for revenge. When Sangria is in the game, objects on the field will generate their own auras, known as the Shadow Realm. When our hunter enters these fields, she will become stealthed, and it is here where she is most dangerous. Her speed increases by 8%, and she gains access to a library of deadly skills.

Shadow Leap causes Sangria to dart forward at lightning speeds to ambush her prey and leave them no escape. You will also drop a Remnant, which you can return to with Shadow Dance to control the field. If you find yourself out of the Shadow Realm, you can generate your own with Shadow Strike, giving Sangria a fantastic range of field control skills.
It is not all doom and gloom, as Cowboy has landed themselves a seven-day trip to the beach, which sounds delightful, right up until, in true Identity V style, it falls apart. In order to make his way home, Cowboy must now spend the week working, or exploring instead if you so choose. Your choices will drive the narrative. You can net yourselves the Island Tourist costume, Mechanics A Ocean’s Whisper accessory, and more.
Identity V can be downloaded now from the App Store and Google Play.
