Put on your big jumper and head into the frozen tundra as Black Desert Mobile's new region opens its doors

After a lot of build-ups and a nice sneak-peak for veterans, Black Desert Mobile players can now enter the new Everfrost region to their heart's content. More importantly, however, you can now play as the exciting Viking-inspired new Guardian class.

As you enter the new region, you will notice a whole lot of white, fitting for a place called Everfrost. You can even enter this area as a new player after only ten minutes. There are five stories to combat, a frozen climate you will need to manage your warm in, and a major new boss monster, Erbjork. Now, whilst this new area is nice, the main draw of this is a new class, our Guardian. An Ascension class, she wields a Battle Axe and Battle Shield and wades into battle like the Norse worries she was modelled after, and who doesn’t want to charge like a Viking?

When you get surrounded by enemies, you can use Bonchill Strike to slam your axe into the ground and deal a wide range of damage, then follow up with Hellfrost to channel the power of the earth for an additional AOE attack. This can combo into Flow: Ground and Pound for even further damage.

To close the gap between you and them, Shield Blitz will see you charge with your shield up to herd enemies backwards, which you can combo into another skill. Finally, her passive is Call of the Dragon, which boosts your critical hit chance and damage, which can stack up to five times for major damage.

By playing the Guardian class in special daily missions you can unlock rewards such as the Fortune Scroll, Red Bean Bun and Restoration Scrolls. Then, undertake the Everfrost Expedition to get even more rewards like Citron Tea to ward off the cold, Ancient Inscribed Glyphs, and more.
