Pokemon Go is in full festive mood as the latest raft of Winter Holiday content begins
The festive season is in full swing in Pokemon Go, with the first part of the Winter Holiday Event already completed. Fret not if you missed it, as the second part has begun, bringing new content and shining a spotlight on one of the most adorable Pokemon.
Eevee fans the world over will be able to rejoice soon, as from December 23rd it will be possible to catch the adorable fluff ball wearing a little festive hat. If you then evolve it into one of its eight forms, it will keep the hat, so you will need to get active to collect them all. You will lose the chance to catch the hat variant of Eevee after December 31st. Speaking of festive wear, this Christmas marks the first time you will be able to obtain a Beartic wearing a special holiday ribbon. If you want one, you simply need to catch a Cubchoo wearing the ribbon and evolve it. Of course, the Pokemon itself, Pikachu is still available to catch in its rather fetching carnival outfit.

If you are looking for something a little more fierce, on December 24th, Hisuian Avalugg will feature in a special Raid Day, with the chance to snap up Shiny. This fairly flat Pokemon will have a higher chance of featuring in raids, and to help in catching one you will be able to earn up to five additional daily raid passes from Gym Photo Discs. When Raiding, also keep an eye out for Kyurem. If they are caught between December 23rd and January 1st they will know Glaciate, a 60-power move that decreases the opponent's Attack in Trainer Battle, or in Gyms and raids it will flatten enemies with 60 power.
Pokemon Go is available to download now on the App Store and Google Play.
