Overdox is celebrating its second anniversary with events and a new Legendary Equipment awakening system

Haegin's melee-focused battle royale will soon turn two years old, which means a major update and several in-game events are required to celebrate the occasion. In addition to these events, players will also find a new Legendary Equipment Awakening System after downloading the v2.1.0 update.

The events require little effort from players. Between August 20th and 26th, they will receive special rewards at 12:00 pm (UTC+0) each day. Meanwhile, over that weekend - 21st and 22nd – the Gold Bonanza event will get underway, increasing the gold earned and daily gold limit.

On top of that, 2nd-anniversary coupons will be sent to all players. Players will receive three of these coupons during the event, and the first of those, which players will receive on August 27th, will yield the most valuable rewards. So, simply remember to log on during the event period to get all of these rewards.

As mentioned, the latest update also marks the arrival of a new system known as Legendary Equipment Awakening. As the name suggests, this allows players to awaken legendary level equipment, which provides various bonuses. They include stat increases, one awoken ability, unique skill upgrades and an awakening effect.

If you're unfamiliar with Overdox, it is a fast-paced game that looks to blend elements of MOBAs and battle royale games. The combat is focused on melee skirmishes rather than ranged attacks, and each match only features 12 players. It's much smaller in scale than most battle royale games then but certainly doesn't lack spectacle.
