Koongya Draw Party was initially announced for both iOS and Android last month. The popular drawing-based quiz game has proven popular in South Korea since it launched in 2018 and we now know that it'll launch for the rest of the world on 26th March.

If you've ever played or heard of games like skribbl.io then you'll be well aware of the concept behind Koongya Draw Party. Players will be tasked with guessing a word based on someone else's drawing skills. If you're not the best at art, all is not lost, as you might be able to breakdown words so you can draw simpler pictures that give clues to the whole word.

The game will be split into three different modes that offer slight variations of the draw and guess formula. The first is very self-explanatory – Drawing Quiz. This will see players solving various drawing puzzles by guessing words for the drawings they're presented with.

There's also an augmented reality mode of sorts called Adventure Mode. In this game variant, players will be able to explore their neighbourhood where they'll discover different drawings located across town. However, I don't think this mode is going to get played much with the current global situation.

The last of the three-game types will be Party Mode, which is likely to offer the most longevity in my opinion. Here you'll be able to create a lobby with up to 8 other players. From there you'll each take it in turns to draw pictures whilst everyone else tries to guess what they are, which could be a fun way to stay connected with people in the coming weeks.

Koongya Draw Party will be available on the App Store and Google Play on 26th March, where you can pre-register for the game now too if you'd like. It will be a free-to-play title with in-app purchases.
