Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, or better known as ML or MLBB, is like the League of Legends for mobile players. To keep the game interesting, Moonton, the developer, always ensures they release new heroes to play with. Additionally, they make adjustments all the time, so there's a sense of balance in the game.

Even a hero's story can get a buff/nerf. Yeah, I'm not kidding. They seriously have changed heroes' stories over the years. Especially to make their models more "traditionally appealing."

To test new and upcoming heroes, MLBB has a beta/test server, "Advanced Server." From there, we can know about upcoming heroes, character adjustments, and even future events.

After taking some time in the Advanced Server, Hirara is finally ready to enter the live build of MLBB.

Let's take a look at Hirara's role in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang

Hirara is an Assassin hero, so she's perfect if you like to play as a jungler. She has seen several changes in her skill set since she first entered the test server.

At first, Hirara comes with three skills like an average hero. But the most recent change I saw was a Hirara with only two skills, so only Skill 1 and Skill 2. No Ultimate.

This is massive, since it means she has the potential to start pushing at level 2, worse than characters like Julian and Suoyu, who are ready to fight at level 3.

Now, I don't know which skill set MLBB will end up using for the live Hirara, but they likely will keep her unique feature: You can drag Skill 1 to Skill 2 (or vice versa) to "mix" them.

One of her skills is a dash, while the other is an AoE hit. If you drag the dash to AoE, then you will dash before dealing AoE damage. Conversely, if you drag AoE to dash, then you will deal AoE damage before dashing.

Hirara also doesn't have a cooldown, but instead relies on her stacks as a limitation. As long as she has stacks, she can deal damage, so keep an eye on the bar under her HP when playing against her. Her stack probably loads faster when you have Cooldown Reduction, though, so she will still need this stat in a match.

Hirara will likely be released when Season 41 starts, around June 17, 2026.
