KonoSuba: Fantastic Days! Celebrates the releaser of it’s newest playable character

Lovers of Anime and explosions can rejoice as KonoSuba: Fantastic Days! has received a bumper update introducing new events and a new character. The arrival of this new lightning aspected character comes alongside some campaign bonuses to get her up and running.

Mel is a rather inexperienced lightning spirit who was sealed away into Mount Wolm long ago at the behest of the Samuidoh citizens but was accidentally awakened recently when Medumin used her Explosion skill on the mountain. A mischievous soul, Mel harbours a keen interest in making new friends, however, her habit of playing ridiculous pranks causes the vast majority of those she meets to run away from her. Despite her relative inexperience, Mel is a very powerful wielder of lightning. Her super skill, the Spirit Javelin, will deal critical normal physical damage to all enemies in battle, making her an excellent candidate for dealing with a packed battlefield.

To celebrate the release of Mel, Nexon has unveiled the Mel Joins the Battle! Lightning Girl recruit event, lasting until November 2nd. This will give players the option to recruit the 4-star Mel (Spirit Power) and the 3-Star Mel (Warm Welcome) characters. Additionally, anyone that clears the Raid Event by November 1st and beats the Event Boss 10 times will earn the 3 Star Mel (Excuse Me) character.

For those seeking further rewards, the Normal main quests will reward players who beat them double the items until 28th October, a perfect time to grind out those needed materials. On top of this, the Normal and Hard main quests will offer double the number of Affinity Points until November 1st, an excellent way to get Mel all caught up with the affinity bonuses.
