Garena Free Fire will soon celebrate its fourth anniversary with a series of celebrations, starting with the addition of DJs Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike as playable characters. Meanwhile, Spawn Island will be redecorated to act as a sneak preview for more of the anniversary events.

It's not the first time Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike have found themselves involved in Free Fire, either. The duo previously created the theme song for Free Fire's Rampage Campaign but will now join the game's ever-growing character roster. They will become available on 6th August, and you can check them out by logging in.

As mentioned, Spawn Island has received a makeover to celebrate the game's fourth anniversary. You will find a variety of colours, a hint towards other events that will follow soon. On top of that, there is some new music to listen to while you wait to drop into your next match.

Elsewhere, the latest episode of The Kelly Show (What's Up Free Fire) is available now, and you can watch it in the embedded video above. It's a series that lets players know everything that's changed in the recent patches and teases for upcoming updates.

For instance, we now know the developers are working on a 1 vs 1 mode, which fans have been requesting. As for updates that are live now, players can now ask for weapons and equipment in the store, and a teammate can buy it for them whilst auto pick up has been tweaked to grab higher value items first.

Garena Free Fire is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It is a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
