To celebrate the release of the Final Fantasy Crisis Core remake, Final Fantasy Brave Exvius will be hosting a crossover with none other than Final Fantasy VII Remake, because reasons. Players will be able to add some iconic new units from AVALANCHE to their roster and take part in some special-themed events.

Of course, the leading player you can recruit is Cloud Strife, the forgetful protagonist and one of gaming's most iconic hairstyles. The Neo Vision unit will come with a CG limit burst and be able to swap between his Standard and Brave Shifts Forms. Alongside him comes Avalanche Barret, the foul-mouthed resistance leader. If you manage to get these two awakened to EX+3, you can obtain the Vision Cards Avalanche’s Fight for Survival and VS Rufus Shrina. To have a better shot at nabbing these two, the Cloud Strife/A. Barret Step-Up Summon will be around until December 28th, with one Neo Vision unit guaranteed on steps 3, 4 and 5, and a guaranteed Neo Vision unit from a curated pool on Step 6. You will also get Cloud Strife (NV) Fragments on Steps 4, 5 and 6 if Lady Luck is being too fickle.

Square will also be running a Login Bonus lasting until January 25th, dishing out rewards of up to 3,000 lapis, an NV Guaranteed 10+1 Summon ticket and more. More important, however, are the special event rewards. The first day will net you the Neo Vision unit Cetra Descendant Aerith to start your collection, and on Day 7 you will also get Cetra Descendant Aerith Fragments.

When you have assembled your ragtag team, you can tackle the Battle Begin in the City of Mako event, available until December 28th. By clearing the event you will amass exclusive currency to exchange for exclusive equipment such as Wrecking Ball, Iron Maiden and Protective Boots, as well as materials to upgrade them.
