Blon is an upcoming pixel art platformer that's heading for iOS and Android in September

Developer Lazy Kiwi and publisher Plug in Digital Games have announced a new platformer that's heading for iOS, Android and PC on September 7th. It's called Blon is available to pre-order now on the aforementioned platforms.

It promises to be a particularly challenging game as you hop through its various stages with the end goal of defeating your mad brother to save the rest of your family. You will play as the titular Blon, a blob who will look to rebuild their family castle, which will help improve their abilities.

Developer Lazy Kiwi is aiming for variety, with each of the levels taking place everywhere from Hell to space. There are seven biomes in total, with each boasting new environmental effects for you to contend with. On top of that, you will find one of 27 tricky bosses at the end of each one, and they will look to put a stop to your meddling.

As you progress further into the game, you will rescue multiple members of Blon's family and can play as them if you'd like, with 16 available to unlock. They each have their own strengths and weaknesses to consider that allow for different playstyles. You can check out some gameplay from Blon in the video above.

Blon is available to pre-order now, over on the App Store and Google Play ahead of its launch on September 7th. It will be a free-to-play game with in-app purchases. Blon will also launch on Steam if PC gaming is more your speed.
