Badlanders Season Six comes loaded with a raft of new features to enjoy

NetEase Games has announced the arrival of the 6th season for its survival looter shooter Badlanders. Dubbed the Era of Embers, the season brings with it a new story, homes for its players and a brand new system to obtain attribute bonuses.

With this new Season comes a new treasure class, Collectibles. By just generally engaging with the game's content whether it be completing missions, advancing up the leaderboard or simply going through the story you will unlock these new collectables and blueprints which can be used to decorate your base, whilst conferring attribute bonuses for you in combat. Another new feature of this update is Heirlooms, which are the best of the best. They are the rarest items and are each one of a kind with their own unique serial number. If you use one of the Heirloom Avatars or Firearm Camouflages you will definitely stand out, and they also apply the attribute bonuses on the battlefield. If you don’t really care about being flashy you can also sell them on the marketplace, no doubt they will turn a pretty penny. Act quickly to claim the Red Beach Camouflage Boxes to have a chance to start earning some Heirlooms this Season.

If you are tired of traipsing around the battlefield, Season 6 also grants every player their very own shelter with the Base System. You will be able to decorate it however you like with a huge array of furniture, decorations and even a Wall of Honor for the Colelctibles and Heirlooms you find. The Wall is also how you get the attribute bonuses, so don’t forget to add any you find.

The new Faction system sees the nomadic Shepherds of the Wolves and the urban Pale Knights seeking new members, so if either strikes your fancy you can sign up to complete their unique missions. Doing this will unlock various faction-specific rewards, such as Avatars and Outfits.
