Don’t you hate when your Beta Test goes diva and demands a rename?

It has been a while since we heard something big from Limit Zero Breakers. We had the Tokyo Game Show demo, which I am still jealous of, and then the initial reveal of the closed beta registrations. The developers have been hard at work in the meantime, but now we are back with some new information.

A lot has changed since December. And by a lot, I mean one thing, but it is big, so it counts as lots. Rambling aside, the Closed Beta Test will now be known as the Prologue Test. Why? Who knows, maybe it got a nice new hat, looked in the mirror and went, “Well, I am far too fancy for a basic name now.”

Deed poll aside, it is not just the name that is new. We also have solid dates for the artist formerly known as the Closed Beta Test. The Prologue Test will be running from Wednesday, June 10th, until Monday, June 15th, which I am sure you will agree is quite a generous window.

Unfortunately, the reveal of the dates also means one more thing: we now have a deadline on pre-registrations. If you have not already, then I will assume it is because you’ve only just come into possession of the internet. Once you get past all the brainrot, you will need to sign up before June 2nd. Still loads of time.

I know what you are thinking. “Why should I? I have many a game to catch up on”. Fair point, well made. Personally, my biggest reason is the Weaver Whale, the flying fortress, cause it sounds pretty cool.

Beyond that, the combat looks incredibly satisfying. You get to pull off rapid, flashy combos, and then switch to another character, continue the bombardment, and repeat. Perfect for those times when you just want to wail on something. And don’t we all need that sometimes? A good old Whale and wail.
