Honkai Impact 3rd released v8.5 with new S-rank battlesuit to collect

Despite the runaway success of Genshin Impact and, to a lesser extent, Honkai: Star Rail, it is lovely that HoYoverse is still committed to keeping Honkai Impact 3rd going. v8.5, A Lightful Love, will release October 23rd, a very un-Halloween update, and will feature a new battlesuit.

This chapter, Reunited Under the Light of Faith, takes us to a brand-new region with the city of Difeng ready to greet us. It is a city that blends nature and technology, which was carefully built by Senadina and their company. It is also where Leylah grew up, and will take Dreamseekers to the Natural History Memorial Hall for a trip down memory lane.

You can also take part in the With You! Youthful Dreams event, taking us to a team-building session hosted by St Freya High School and the Golden Courtyard. One day, Kiana made a wish to the Messenger of Love for a stressful school experience with no homework or exams, the dream of us all, I am sure.

Alas, that was not to be, as all these stresses and worries gained sentience and became the Homework Rampagers. This all sounds ridiculous, doesn't it? Anyway, you need to do what you do best, which is show up and kick butt. Doing so will get you tokens to spend on the likes of the new Valkyrie Blastmetal outfit, Brianic Dark Lord, and Crystals.

The new S-suit belongs to Elysia, and has far too many emojis in the title for my liking. It is called Hi♪ Love Elf♥. She wields a bow in combat and can summon messengers to perform a 4-combo attack that deals ice damage. You can also pick up the Pure Love’s Whisper weapon and the Blissful Days stigma set at the same time.
