DC: Dark Legions brings us a Wonder Woman who is completely tooled up

I am not that up on DC comics as a whole. However, I am pretty sure I would have heard if Wonder Woman started fighting crime with a chainsaw. And this is exactly the situation that DC: Dark Legion has put us in, thanks to its latest update.

Just in time for Halloween, John Constantine has his back against the wall, trying to save the season from the illusions of the Nightmare Stone in Halloween’s Dark Requiem. So, as anyone would, he turns to Wonder Woman Death Metal and her trusty Chainsaw of Truth. Which I feel is an unnecessary name.

It is obviously spun from her Lasso of Truth, which makes anyone wrapped up in it tell the truth. I put it to you, however, that you don’t need a special chainsaw for that. If you came at me with a chainsaw, I would answer any question you have. I don’t need a special one blessed by the Amazons; keep your regular chainsaw away from me.

Anyway, that’s besides the point. Diana has gone Death Metal and is rocking lumberjack equipment. She takes centre stage in the new Nightfall Siege PvE mode, which drags us through the past, present, and future. Like the Christmas Carol ghosts if they were in KISS cosplay.

As always, it is The Batman Who Laughs pulling the strings, attacking cities across the multiverse. It is down to you to assign your champions and defend against this onslaught. You can take a trip to the Halls of the Underworld to unlock Wonder Woman Dark Metal with the Fragments of Truth earned in this event.

There are also a few other event tasks you can take care of. You can wield the Chainsaw of Truth yourself to take on the Nightmare Stones' illusions in Pandemonium of Hell. Or earn some Hell’s Candy by completing tasks in the Ghostly Serenade to trade for extra goodies. Finally, you can throw, or gift, but I like my idea, Pumpkins at other players to receive Halloween Surprise Boxes in return.
