Bleach: Brave Souls celebrates the New Year with a rather strange 6-star reward

I am very, very hyped for the upcoming Bleach Mirrors High; it is going to be so good. A statement based on that one piece of information, they put out. But, we must not forget the elders of the mobile anime games, Bleach: Brave Souls. Especially when their New Year event is the Thousand-Year Blood War Zenith Summons: Unity.

You know what that means: Quincys galore! Uryū Ishida is the best Bleach character, there is no debate. Sadly, the three new 5-star characters are not of the Quincy variety. You can recruit the Thousand-Year Blood War 2026 versions of the slacker captain himself, Shunsui Kyoraku, Zaraki-superfan Ikkaku Madarame, or ex-big bad Sosuke Aizen.

They will be recruitable through the eponymous Summon banner until January 15th. The pulls come with a 6% 5-star rate, which sounds low, but you also get a “Choose a 5-Star Summons Ticket” on steps 25 and 50, which lets you pick one of the three. Honestly, step 25 is quite generous for something like that.

Next, there is another generous, although very weird, surprise in store; the New Year 2026 Choose a 6-star Summons. It is available until January 31st, and lets you pick 10 6-star characters from the list. Then, it randomly pulls one of them for you to keep. I have confirmed that from three different sources, and it still sounds really weird. Why the gacha element at the end? And where is my Ishida 6-star?!

Uryū fury aside, there are also two repost campaigns happening with real-world rewards. Until tomorrow, January 2nd, you can head to the Brave Souls TwiX account to engage with the Thousand-Year Blood War Repost Campaign post. You will be in with a chance to win prizes such as bookmarks, sticker sets, and autographs from the voice actors. One of them is Noriaki Sugiyama, the voice of Uryū Ishida, and you can go aside and post that to our office if you win it, thank you.

The second campaign lasts until January 3rd, and is also on TwiX. Happily, everyone will receive droplets of each attribute based on the total repost count, up to 2026. Pretty neat, everyone wins. There will also be two winners of an autographed Kurosaki or Rukia Kuchiki Brave Souls Original T-Shirt. A nice start to the year.
