WWE Mayhem brings all of the familiar faces from your favorite wrestling league to mobile in this exciting new fighting game. Build up a team of your favorite WWE superstars and fight your way to the championship title, or battle against your friends for bragging rights.

It's easy to jump right into WWE Mayhem and start throwing punches, but the game's robust fighting mechanics mean there are a lot of small nuances to master if you want to be truly successful. Here are a few tips to get you started.

Time your combos wisely

You won't get very far if you simply mash controls recklessly. Don't go into combos cold -- instead get a punch or two in and then transition to the combo. Your moves will become interwoven, making it harder for your opponent to interrupt you.

It's also a good idea to refrain from attacking your enemy while they're blocking. It's a waste of effort, especially if you throw in a combo. You'll run out of energy, leaving you vulnerable to an easy attack from your opponent.

Understand different strengths and weaknesses

WWE Mayhem has a wheel of strengths and weaknesses you should memorize as soon as you can. Each wrestler in the game has a different specialization. Remember that Showmen beat Brawlers, Brawlers beat Wildcards, Wildcards beat Technicians, Technicians beat Powerhouses, Powerhousers beat High Fliers, and High Fliers beat Showmen.

Plan your team with care

When bulding your team of wrestlers, you should make sure you cover every strength and weakness. Try not to leave any gaps in the wheel discussed above.

Basic strengths and weaknesses aside, some wrestlers work together better than others regardless of their type. Pay attention to any bonuses superstars might received when paired with other characters. Building a team that takes advantage of these hidden bonuses can pay off in a big way in competition.
