When one thinks about vacuum cleaners, I would be willing to go out on a limb and conjecture that games are the furthest thing from your imagination.  Vacuum manufacturer Electrolux is aiming to change all of that by introducing their new social marketing tool, interactive battle of the sexes and game, iVac.

Tabulating totals of men and women across the globe, this intriguing new game will pit the tops scores against each other, in order to find which sex is the superior cleaner.  Players will also have the option to chose from a wide variety of different Electrolux branded vacuums, in order to crowned the top sucker in the world.

Using a free game to expand the exposure of a specific brand of product is an interesting new idea that could prove to be an innovative new way to approach marketing.  Here is to hoping that a Swiffer branded dusting game is in production, because we all know that is where the big bucks are at…
