Timecrest will Continue the Recent Tradition of Hands-Off Adventure Games Later This Year

The general idea behind Timecrest isn't necessarily new at this point. Much like Spy_Watch and Lifeline... you play a sort of real time choose-your-own adventure, with the game occasionally poking you to make a decision before you wait for the fictional person on the other end to do a thing. But this time it's about time-travelling wizards!

I'm honestly not being sarcastic; I think Timecrest looks pretty interesting. The time travel idea seems genuinely interesting, and the way you have Ash (the main character) interact with others can have a big impact on whether they end up being friendly or a lot less friendly. You can also load Ash up with all sorts of powerful spells, which is definitely a plus.

Timecrest will be available for free this Fall.
