TerraGenesis successfully made its mark on the App Store, drawing over 1 million players, and now it’s coming to Android to captivate new legions of players to transform and explore distant planets. The winner of last year’s Very Big Indie Pitch in San Francisco, TerraGenesis is a space sim that elegantly melds real-life biology and physics with sci-fi to give players the freedom to terraform planets and build functioning colonies.

You’ll wield science and technology to transform the most hostile planets into livable habitats for your colonists and new creatures you’ll shape using bio-engineering. Keep air pressure and oxygen in check while maintaining good biomass and healthy sea levels. Terragenesis certainly makes life on earth seem like a breeze. The game gives you the power to explore planets from our own solar system, as well as fictional worlds like Bacchus and Ragnarok. Join a faction while you’re at it, but choose wisely. Each one has its own unique advantages, so choose the one that best suits your goals.

TerraGenesis will also soon be launching its Historical Earths update, which features new planets and the ability to travel through time. These new planets are populated by indigenous people and creatures, and you’ll be able to engage with them as you begin to create your own settlements. Worldkillers add an additional challenge, occasionally raining disaster on your growing colonies.

TerraGenesis is free to play right now on Android and iOS.
