Stack Jump guide - how to jump to new heights

Stack Jump is a simple little arcade chaser that reminds us of old school iOS games. Control a creature, helping them jump from one box to the next without being knocked into a pool of blood thirsty sharks.

It might sound basic, but there's actually a good bit of strategy you can employ to help you get much higher scores. We're here to show you how to do just that.

Watch both directions

As you get higher and higher, blocks will start moving more quickly and they could come from both directions almost simultaneously. Watch both sides of the screen, and be ready to jump again as soon as you land to prevent an unnecessary death.

Make even stacks

When you stack two or more blocks on top of each other perfectly, you'll get a score modifier. The more even stacks you make, the bigger the points. Try to perfect this skill early on, as it's key to getting a high score quickly. To stack blocks evenly, you'll have to wait until the block is nearly on top of you before jumping so that it's lined up in the middle. Then, just rinse and repeat.

Try new characters

As you spend time with the game, you'll unlock more characters just for playing a few different games, or scoring enough points. It's easy to earn new characters, so try playing with all of them. They might not have a big impact on your score, but it's fun to change things up. Different characters come with different scenery, too, which keeps things interesting.
