Word games are fun and the ideal game to drop into on a daily commute, or simply when there’s five minutes spare in the day. One such word game that fits this description is RhymieStymie.
It’s a free app, backed up with a series of in-app purchases, that offers a form of rhyming challenge. It’s simple to learn: players are given a short clue and they have to come up with a two word rhyming answer that means the same thing. It’s the kind of thing that takes a few seconds to get into the right mindset but it’s not long before ‘criminal crustacean’ easily turns into ‘mobster lobster.’
That’s mostly it. There aren’t any super flashy graphics or annoyed birds getting in the way. It’s simply a fun concept that gets the old gray matter ticking. Sometimes that’s all that’s needed in a fun and wordy puzzle.
