UPDATE: It turns out that it's for Android, not iOS. Boo.

Oculus VR announced that Oculus Rift is coming to iOS devices. What?? Yes! Venture Beat reports that the company's CEO, Brendan Iribe, gave the announcement during his keynote speech at the GamesBeat video game conference. It's also said that it should launch around the same time as the PC headset and that it'll be a lighter version that uses the mobile device's processor.

Well that's just totally freakin' cool, isn't it? I personally had experience with the Oculus and found it to be incredible. I can't wait to see what the iOS version has in store for us all.
