Morphite guide - how to explore like a pro

The much anticipated space exploration game, Morphite, has finally arrived, and we can't get enough of it. The game is essentially everything we wanted No Man's Sky to be. It's a game that puts a heavy focus on exploring foreign worlds, but the game still provides the player with some direction and guidance to steer you along a well told story.

The game can feel quite open-ended, but we have a few tips to help you make the most of your adventures.

Scan, scan, and scan some more

When in doubt, scan. Scanning is the best way to learn about your surroundings. It's a sure-fire way to find new upgrades and gather valuable resources when you're out and about, plus you should be building up your log.

Be sneaky

It may seem like common sense, but you should always approach wildlife with care. You can easily scan creatures if you approach them slowly from behind. This is useful if you're coming up on a skittish creature, or even those that are more aggressive. Safety first, as they say.

Follow the teleporters

If you're not sure of where to go next, follow the teleporters or their beacon lights if you can see them in the distance. It's a good way to gain some direction if you've been wandering for some time and are ready to move on with your adventure.

Upgrade wisely

You should upgrade your ship's explorational features before you working on beefing up your defenses. At least give your ship a fuel upgrade before moving on to other, potentially more exciting upgrades.

The same goes for your suit -- make upgrades that will improve your ability to explore diverse and even hostile environments. This will open up wider swathes of the game earlier on.
