Tap the box to earn more quickly

While your properities will earn money just by sitting there, you'll find more success if you tap the box at the bottom of the screen incessantly. This will help you earn money and new boxes a lot faster.

Before you quit, make sure your map is full of high level houses

Your buildings will accumulate money even when you're not actively playing the game. Before you close the window, though, make sure your map is full of buildings, preferably high level ones, so you're idly earning as much gold as possible.

Focus on completing achievements

If you tap the little award ribbon on the bottom left side of the screen, you can view all of the available achievements. Make sure you're working towards these little goals, because they can reward you with lots of cash.
