How to get items faster in MARVEL Avengers Academy

Now that you've got your heroes and finished your time-limited quests, are you finding yourself grinding through MARVEL Avengers Academy, thinking to yourself, "there's got to be a quicker way to do this," then do we have the guide for you!

Here are some tips on how to get more items in the game faster.

Step 1: Clear one quest with desired items

If you're ever doing a quest where you need a specific item (like textbooks), the first thing you should do is clear one of those quests.Yes, this is obvious, but it's a necessary step in pulling off this trick.

If you have two or more quests completed, just make sure to clear one and wait to see what the replacement quest is before moving forward. This can help you increase the chances of getting a quest you want and decrease the amount of time you might have to wait.

Step 2: Check the length of the replacement quest

In MARVEL Avengers Academy, clearing a quest that has specific item rewards usually causes another quest with similar reward types to pop up (though this isn't always the case).

By clearing one of the quests with your desired item type and waiting for a second, you can see if you're being given a heroic quest or something shorter (hint: you want the shorter quests).

Step 3: Abandon quest for shorter quest

If your replacement quest turns out to take hours to complete, especially if it just rewards you with three or four items, feel free to abandon it. To do this, tap into the quest details and hit the trashcan on the upper left corner of the quest overview menu.

The quest will then disappear and a timer will pop up to keep you from just refreshing quests over and over, but if you still have that other quest you haven't turned in yet, you have another shot to pull up a quest with the items you want!

Step 4: Profit

If you use this method, with a little luck you can pull in a bunch of easy quests to get your desired items in no time.

As a comparison, using this method can get you four items in 12 minutes instead of having to wait six-eight hours. It's almost like having your own superpower!
