Lichtspeer is a sort of tower defense game that’s full of colorful neon Viking enemies that are trying to fell your spear-wielding hero. Sometimes, the game’s action gets quite hectic, but if you keep the following tips in mind, you might last long enough to earn your spot in Valhalla.

You can miss twice, but don’t miss thrice

When tossing your spears at enemies, you want to try and keep a combo going by hitting enemies without missing. If you do happen to miss once or twice, the game continues as normal, but you have to build your combo back up from nothing again. Missing three times is a real killer though, as it stuns your Viking, which is a hard thing to recover from.

Prioritize properly

Lichtspeer wastes no time throwing a ton of enemies at you at once, but getting rid of all of them can be a snap if you know which ones you should focus on first. A good general rule is the faster and/or smaller an enemy is, the more you should focus on killing it first. Of course, if a giant cyclops is knocking at your door just as a faster and smaller enemy appears, you may want to take care of it first before taking down the small guy.

Shields shmeilds

One of the more frustrating enemies in Lictchspeer are shield-bearing warriors that can block your spear throws. On occasion, these enemies reveal their faces so you can kill them easily, but did you know you can also kill these brutes even when they aren’t explicitly looking out from under their shield? Even when protecting themselves, it’s still possible to hit the tops of their heads. With such a small target, it can be tricky, but it’s still doable.

Decimate via decapitation

Lichtspeer primarily asks you to survive its levels, but if you really want to maximize your score, you need to focus on headshots. Hitting enemies in the head not only dispatches them immediately, but it also adds bonus multipliers to your score. What’s more is that stringing together multiple headshots in quick succession grants yet another bonus to your score. So, if you want to be a true Lichtspeer master, you must be quick, but also extremely accurate.
