With the 25th Anniversary of Marty McFly's adventures now upon us (and only 5 years until the 'Future' of 2015, the setting of Back to the Future II, arrives), Telltale games has announced the launch of the Back To The Future: The Game. First coming out on Mac & PCs, later this month, but will then be available on the iPad.

Picking up shortly after the events of the third Back to the Future film, Marty and Doc embark on a completely new cinematic time-travel adventure. The story unfolds across five exciting episodes, with a new installment releasing each month.

While there is no information yet available about the pricing and launch information for the iPad version, the PC and Mac version are available for pre-order on www.backtothefuturegame.com for $24.95. Lets hope that the iPad version will be less expensive.

Also on that site, you can also watch the three part video series of behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with Back to the Future consultant Bob Gale, who wrote and produced the original trilogy, as well as for the Animated TV Series. Also hear from the rest of the game team sharing an inside-look at the production. The videos also shows first footage of Christopher Lloyd returning to the role of Doc Brown in the recording studio and talking about his experiences making the game. Finally, you'll also get a look into the casting for the voice of Marty, for the game.

You can also sign up for announcements about upcoming product information about this or other telltale games projects www.telltalegames.com/mytelltale/register/, but we'll be keeping a close eye, and any further information about this game will definitely be announced, so stay tuned!
