Fourteen months after it first hit iOS, it's clear that ninjas still hate fruit, and people love to help slice those dastardly fruits. Now, budding ninjas and fruit haters alike can destroy a new fruit in a new update for Fruit Ninja. The pomegranate, the chosen fruit of the Olympian gods, is now available to slice up in Fruit Ninja. This isn't just some random fruit to slice up, oh no. This godly fruit will show up at the end of Arcade mode, and periodically in Classic mode, with the goal being to slice it as many times as possible in a short period of time. The fruit does not appear in Zen mode, as Halfbrick did not believe it to be a good fit to that mode's gameplay. This is all part of a free update available now on both the iPhone/iPod touch version as well as the iPad version. Check out a trailer for the Pomegranate update below.
