Bricks n Balls is one of those games that might feel like you're not in control. But that's not the case, there's plenty you can do here to get an edge and watch your scores soar through the stratosphere. It's going to take a lot of practice though.
Or, you're going to have to ask someone who's already put a lot of time into the game. Which is good, because we have put a lot of time into the game, and now we're going share our secrets with you to make sure you're playing the best game of Bricks n Balls that you can.
Work the angles
If you're taking straight shots in Bricks n Balls, then you're doing things wrong. Never take a straight shot, unless there's only one or two bricks left. Instead, you want to be bouncing your balls as much as you can. Look for the angles that are going to hit the most bricks, and use the walls, both at the side and the top, to your advantage.
Save the green
It's a difficult skill to learn, but saving the green special moves for when they're most useful is really important. Sometimes there'll be one of these and you can't work out what it's there for. That means there's going to be more bricks coming in that it can clear. Angle your earlier shots to deal with other blocks, then hit the green when it's going to do the most damage.
Hit the bottom
On the larger levels, it's important to make sure you keep the lower levels under control. It's easy to get carried away with clever shots, only to discover you've left too many blocks left at the bottom to get rid of. Even if you've got a potentially great shot on, have a think about whether you should be getting rid of some of the lower levels instead.
Just because you've got three stars, that doesn't mean you're guaranteed to finish the level. Don't get carried away. Focus on the skills we've taught you here, and you'll be in with a great chance, but if you think a level's already finished, then there's a very good chance you're going to find a nasty sting in the tale.
Use your powers
You want to use you're powers when they're going to be the most useful. For the most part this is going to be towards the end of a level, and it's going to be on a level you've failed on before. Figure out which of your special skills is going to be the most helpful, and throw it out when you're getting to the point of the level where things usually start to go wrong.
