Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle beginner's guide
In the world of gacha games, Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle is one of the biggest. The game combines board game elements with fighting action, tasking you with assembling a team of heroes from the Dragon Ball Z cast. If you're a DBZ fan and still haven't given Dokkan Battle a try you're missing out.
As this is a gacha game, there is a lot of luck and strategy involved. We have a few beginner's tips to help you summon the best heroes and assemble an ultra-powerful team of fighters.
Save up your Dragon Stones
Dragon Stones are incredibly important, as they allow you to summon new, powerful characters. If you don't want to pay money for extras, you'll want to save every single Dragon Stone you find within the game. Don't spend this precious currency on Revives or Stamina regenerations. Resist the temptation to use them to make the game a little easier, and you'll be paid back in kind.
Don't miss out on Daily and Character Events
Be sure to stay on top of the Daily Events and special Character Events, which can give you precious experience boosts, and even Rare or Super Rare characters. These events are for a limited time only, so make sure you stay up to date to ensure you don't miss out on a great opportunity.
Visit Korin's Tower to collect training items
Once you have a nice little team going, you'll need to level up your characters. The goal here is to max out your character so that they can attain their Z-Awakening, which increases that hero's rarity by 1. The fastest way to level up your characters is by using training items, and you can find a huge number of them in Korin's Tower. This is a special stage that you can access daily from 12 - 1 P.M. PT and 7 - 8 P.M. PT.
Sell unwanted items and characters
You'll find useful characters like SSJ2 Gohan and Krillan in the Baba Shop, or Elder Kai, but you'll need Baba Points to unlock them. Luckily it's not too hard to save up for these items if you're smart about it. Be sure to visit the shop in between quests to trade in items that aren't useful. You'll have enough to cash in for more valuable items in no time.
