Well would you look at that, it's Thursday again. And that means it's time for us to roundup the best games that have come out for iOS over the past seven days. And, I'll be honest with you, it's not the most impressive week we've ever seen. But, there are a few gems among the E3-avoiding derth.

There's an impressive port of a console game, an interesting use of AI, and a puzzler that's actually all about testing your reactions. There's loads more too, and I've stuck in download links so you can grab whichever of them tickles your fancy.

Ark: Survival Evolved - download for iOS

There's nothing quite like trying to survive on an island that's filled with dinosaurs, I imagine. And that's exactly what Ark offers up. It's a bit clunky here and there, but there's a massive game to smoosh your face into, and did I mention it was full of dinosaurs? If you're a fan of the genre, pick this one up ASAP.

Knights Chronicle - download for iOS

There are a lot of people who love the summon animation in Final Fantasy games. If you're one of them, then this is the game for you. It's a midcore, team-based RPG with loads of menus and currencies, but when it's in motion it really is something quite special. There's a big nonsense story to get your teeth into as well.

Tile and Error - download for iOS

It might look like a simple puzzler, but Tile and Error is actually all about testing your reactions. You need to move a block from A to B, avoiding all of the red squares as you do. That's much, much easier said than done though. This one's going to make you pull your hair out and no mistake.

Explodey - download for iOS

A game about explosions. Actually, that's not really true. It's a game that sees you piloting a helicopter that's packed to the roof with weapons. You're the one causing the explosions, and there's a lot of fun to be had blasting everything that moves. Surprisingly there's some thinking to be done here as well.

God of War: Mimir's Vision - download for iOS

This one isn't technically a game, but I still thought it was worth mentioning here. It's an AR experience based on the recent PlayStation 4 smash hit. There's not much here for anyone who's not a fan of that game, but if you want more of Kratos and his tiny son, then this is a great way to go about getting it.

Push Sushi - download for iOS

A sliding block puzzles starring adorable sushi rolls? I mean, what's not to love about that? It's a smart game all in all, but there's a logic and, perhaps most importantly, a fairness here, that's going to suck you into the experience. Fun, fast, and while it might be a little flawed, most of those flaws are surprisingly easy to get past.
