Aether Gazer releases Version 2.1 update along with two powerful new characters

Aether Gazer has recently debuted its Version 2.1 update, A Night Falls Red, following Odin and Gengchen's journey in the Source Layer after entering and dominating it in the past story. It also brings a special new event and two powerful S-rank Modifiers.

There may only be two new Modifiers, but there is something for everyone here. TaiYi - Gengchan is a Ranged hero who hits like a truck from the safety of afar. She packs three skills which deal varying degrees of Water Damage to enemies, so you can choose just how badly you wish to humiliate your foe.

Omnisight - Luliang, on the other hand, is the opposite, a Wind-attribute melee character who takes on more of a support role. She is a master of manipulating Omnicalc and uses it in combat to great effect. Her first skill is a gap closer, swiftly approaching enemies with the Omnicalc's help. Her second ability sees her use this power to smash a foe with a precise spinning assault.

As always, we also see new skill chains. Gengchan teams up with Untainted Heart - Lingguang to unleash Ink-Stained Flames, or the new characters can team up together for The Longmen Leap. For Functors, we have four five-stars introduced, including two Otherworlder prefixes. Shenli, who is recommended for Gengchen, and Hujiao for pairing with Luilang.

Until March 18th, players can head into a host of trials such as Banquet Invitation, Gen-zone Simulation, Pressing Priorities, and Day After Day to test out these new recruits. Taking part in these will earn you special rewards such as Spirit Extract T4, Shifted Stars, and the Whispering Waves outfit for Gengchen. You can also catch up on anything you might have missed with the Limited-Time Event Return.
