HandySpeech is a handwriting-to-speech app that helps people with disabilities communicate. The app creator, Eric Zeiberg, is a 12 year-old who was inspired by his sister (who has autism). He has just been recognized by the Connecticut General Assembly for his contribution to quality of life for people with speech impairments.
“I hope that HandySpeech will provide much needed help and open new opportunities for people in need,” said Eric. “The application is dedicated to courageous people who struggle every day to overcome their disabilities.”
