Terraria 1.4.5 is coming soon, and it promises a ton of new content and quality of life improvements. In a recent trailer released by Re-Logic, players can see a lot of things added, such as new outfits, weapons, reworked crafting UI, and so much more.

However, due to how short and fast the trailer is, you basically have to stop the video frame-by-frame to see all the things added in the update.

As the update name suggests, Terraria 1.4.5 will feature Boulder-related content, such as Boulder Rains, Boulder Pet, Rainbow Boulders, and, apparently, Poo Boulders.

The video began by showing a companion from Palworld, a throwback to the Terraria x Palworld update, which was released in Palworld in June 2025. Even then, it's known that Palworld is coming to Terraria on version 1.4.5, but not much is known about the update's release date.

Palworld companions added in Terraria 1.4.5 include Digtoise, which can destroy blocks, Cattiva, a Pal that can be pet (very important feature), and Foxparks, a Pal that can shoot fire like a summon, until you grab them as an improvised flamethrower.

Palworld crossover isn't the only collab in Terraria 1.4.5

Other than the Palworld crossover, there will also be a collab with Dead Cells, as shown in an outfit of the Beheaded, the protagonist of Dead Cells.

The trailer also shows thunderstorm weather, which may cause lightning to strike enemies or trees. Trees struck by lightning will even spark embers that burn surrounding foes.

Next, you can see an NPC called Grodax, who has a portrait. This may mean that all NPCs will now have a portrait, but it would be funny if Grodax ended up being the only one with it.

Talking about new graphical improvements, going fishing in version 1.4.5 will also be more enjoyable, as fish will now appear in the water as you wait for a bite.

Finally, more music tracks are added, including 8 boss tracks, so you can immerse yourself in the excitement of fighting bosses.

Terraria 1.4.5 is scheduled to release on all platforms on January 27, 2026.
