Solo Leveling: Arise takes a look at the past of one of the most iconic Shadows
I think we all need to recruit Sian Halat just for the lore alone
Whether you like your anime fun single-player or competitive, Solo Leveling: Arise has you covered in its latest update. There are story stages to clear, or a PvP event to test your might in. But before all that, we have the opportunity to add two new SSR Hunters to our ranks.
Our first hero will be quite interesting for fans of the Solo Leveling story. We all know Igris, one of Sung Jinwoo's most reliable allies/forced conscripts. Arise imagines his past life as this newest SSR Hunter, known as Sian Halat.
This new hero is a Dark-type Elemental Stacker who dishes out major damage with his giant sword, both at short and medium range. His Knight’s Pride ultimate skill is effectively just a nice, big delete button. You can also pick up the Encount costume for him, but please don’t. It looks particularly terrible. Stick to his awesome crimson armor.

Of course, no one unit can win a war on its own. That is where Son Kihoon comes in, the venerable leader of Strike Team B. He is a Dark-type Breaker whose true worth comes in his support capabilities. He can dish out the pain, too, but his skill set allows him to buff allies, giving the likes of Sian Halat an even meaner swing.
We can’t overlook Jinwoo in any update, so now players can tackle some new story content. Hidden Chapters 1 and 2, as well as Expert difficulty for Chapters 19 and 20, will test your skills. Or, you can roam around complete snowflake-themed events for rewards. But what if that sounds too pleasant for you?
Well, you can go smack your friends around in the International Clash PvP event. Players will form attack and defense teams of up to 5 Hunters and 9 Tactic Cards to engage in epic battles.
Perform well enough, and you will receive special titles to lord over all you have vanquished. There are also other rewards, but what is PvP other than the ultimate decider of skill?
Solo Leveling: Arise is available from the App Store and Google Play.
