Ultimate Ears Mini Boom Review

From looking at the line of speakers in the past, we already know that the Ultimate Ears Mini Boom is is one of the best mini Bluetooth speakers available when used alone. And now it can be used in pairs to boost the sound. The UE MINI BOOM can pair up with another UE MINI BOOM to expand the sound by doing either left/right stereo sound separation or sound doubling. Either way allows this tiny Bluetooth speaker to fill a room with sound.

Setup is as easy as any Bluetooth speaker. Connect in the Bluetooth settings of the device and all sound will go through the speaker. Volume can changed either on the speaker or on the device. When setting up either the Double Up or stereo pair of speakers, the easiest way to do this is to use the UE MINI BOOM app. The app allows quick and easy setup. Double Up can also be done via the controls on the top of the device, but this can be a bit like remembering a cheat code on a console controller.

The speaker delivers a reported charge of 10 hours of playback and can be charged either from a wall adapter or from a USB connection. The sound is great - better than should be expected considering the size. Portability is amazing and the speaker is rather rugged. Throw it in a bag and take it on that next trip.
