Puzzle & Dragons calls in the cute cavalry as Sanrio Characters return once more

I have said it before, and I will say it again: the idea of sending Hello Kitty to give a dragon a clip around the ear is as absurd as it is hilarious. And yet here we are for, I believe, the third time, if memory serves, as Sanrio returns to Puzzle & Dragons. 

Or perhaps the even more prudent question: what is Cinnamoroll going to go against a berserk beast? The suspension of disbelief is required in gaming, but it is stretched here. But anyway, enough deconstruction, because Hello Kitty and friends are he and will be throwing down until January 4th. 

In order to collect these, along with the likes of Bad Badtz-Maru and Kumouri, who I believe 100% could wipe the floor with an enemy, you need to engage with many a dungeon. The Sanrio Characters-Novice and Expert levels will reward Nova Cinnamoroll and 50,000 MP, respectively, as well as Medals to use at the Monster Exchange. 

Collect enough medals and then pop over to the Exchange for Hello Mimmy, Hello Kitty’s Ribbon, and more. Then suit up your adorable army and take on three Descended challenges. These are Kitty REMDra & Purin REMDra, Time Dragonbound, Mille Cinnamoroll, and REMDrapurin, from which you can recruit the named characters and their pals by clearing. 

After this, you will have no shortage of heroes to choose as your Sanrio Leader in Sanrio Characters Land 1 and 2 to activate the 100% drop rate bonus. Clearing 1 will get you 100,000 MP, and 2 will earn 2x Event Medal - Rainbow.  Also worth noting, all the above, bar the Sanrio Characters-Novice and Expert, can be done in Multiplayer.

Finally, it is time for the big ones: Title challenges. There are four to collect, each with a fixed team or Helper and a time limit. They are Pochacco, Pompompurin, Cinnamoroll, and Hello Kitty. You will also gain a helping of MP to add to your already hefty haul, which you can spend at the MP Shop on Sky Splitting Marvelous Red Dragon Caller, Sonia Kitty, and Hello Kitty REMDra. Picking up the former will also enhance the Collab Enchantment Sanrio Character badge to a plus.
