Ditch the heavy binders and high price tags and instead build a virtual card collection with Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket

As fun as the real-world equivalent and the very old Game Boy version are, the Pokemon Trading Card games have historically been received poorly on mobile. It is a very strange and confusing trend, but one that The Pokemon Company is determined to change, given the release of Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket.
Equally one of the best and worst parts of trading card games is buying booster packs. They are expensive as hell, but, on the other hand, gimmie shiny new cards. Pocket combats this by giving away two booster packs per day for nothing, so you can slowly build your collection. Another feature for obtaining cards is the wonder pick. This allows you to randomly select one card from packs open by other players around the world. It is something I am interested in experiencing to see how it works, and it is also hilarious to think of that happening in the real world at card shops.
These cards will come packed with nostalgic illustrations and brand-new artwork that can only be found in Pocket. Thanks to being on mobile, there will also be special effects you can’t get on real cards, such as parallax effects, and immersive cards that allow you to enter the cards illustration. Who doesn't want to enter Eevee-world?
Speaking of that adorable fox-like being, you can decorate and personalize your collection with stuff like bindings, flairs, and display boards. There is a board of the Eeveelutions and it is now my life goal to obtain this. You can also pick your playmats, card sleeves, and coins because Pocket isn’t just for collecting.
It's the Pokemon card game, of course, there will be battles. You can jump into single-player or multiplayer matches, sporting streamlined rules optimized for mobile devices. Pocket is also the perfect place for newcomers to start, thanks to features such as automatic battles, rental decks, and auto-build.
Pocket Trading Card Game Pocket is available to download from the App Store and Google Play.
